Oral Histories of Everyday Elders

Susan Gittler (pictured above) was a modern dancer in the 30’s and beyond. At age 89 she danced at a festival in North Carolina. She was interviewed by Janey Babin for North Carolina Public Radio’s “The Story” at the American Dance Festival in North Carolina.

Susan lived in Berkeley, CA, and attended Epworth United Methodist Church until her death in 2016.
